Belize is a beautiful country, and is fast becoming one of the most popular Central American locations for U.S. Citizens. This could have something to do with the little known fact that Belize is the only Central American country where English is the primary language.
In June 2012, we visited San Pedro, Belize. San Pedro is an island that is accessible via Ferry or Small Aircraft from Belize City. From the ancient Mayan ruins of Xunantunich, to snorkeling with Sting Rays and Nurse Sharks, and the world famous “Chicken Drop” at Wahoo’s, San Pedro offers a lot to see and do.
